Munir Ahmad, recipient of Sitara-e-Imtiaz Award, was a renowned Urdu and Punjabi poet. Munir Ahmed Niazi had a diverse literary career. He used to write for newspaper, radio, and magazine. He established an institution titled “Al- Misal”. He was associated with PTV Lahore for a very long period of time.
